J. Hulvay

"6 1/4 inch wooden artist Hitty that appears to be hand carved basswood
and birch (possibly all birch) made from a Judy Brown's carving blank.
She has the rotating arms and H jointed hips typical of Judy Brown doll style.
She is signed on the back in ink, it looks like J Hulvay 1/22/02
(sorry if name is spelled wrong it is hand written in pen on Hitty's back).
The clothing is original and most likely made by the artist.
Hittys face is beautifully painted with shading and nice detail."--Melanie Smith
