Trixie is Hitty Rose's six-month old puppy. Hitty Rose and her Mother went to the SPCA and she picked Trixie out of a batch of puppies ready to be adopted. She thought that Trixie looked very smart, and was so soft and roly-poly that she just couldn't resist.

Since being adopted, Trixie has learned to sit and lay down. Now Hitty Rose is working on Sit Pretty--although with Trixie's build, she may not have much luck! Trixie appears to be part lab and part something else--and probably a few more something else's thrown in! But Hitty Rose is thrilled with her and says the only papers she needs for Trixie are the papers in the floor of her kennel!

Trixie is an indoor dog, but Mother was very firm--dog's need their own private space and should sleep alone. So, Trixie has a kennel in the back room. Every night, Hitty Rose walks Trixie, and then puts her in the kennel along with toys, dog biscuits, and her favorite blanky. Mother just laughs and says Trixie may be the most spoiled dog she knows!
